Top 3 Natural Oils For Healthy Hair

There has always been a craze about coconut oil and its wonderful and magical usefulness for hair and skin. At some point, people even joked that if you had financial problems; just pour coconut oil on it. As useful and magical as coconut oil may be, there are a whole lot of other natural oils with great benefits that are slept on. Their properties are astounding and it’s hard to believe that they don’t have as much movement as
coconut oil. I’m going to be focusing on the three that I usually mix with Tea tree and coconut oils for my hair.

Jojoba Oil-
This oil’s molecular structure is very similar to Sebum (the natural oil that the scalp produces) and so it doesn’t mess with the scalp’s natural balance. It strengthens the hair fibers, thereby reducing breakage, dryness and brittleness. Jojoba oil has a very long shelf life so you don’t have to worry about the oil going bad for a long time. The unrefined Jojoba oil is golden in color, and so this is the color you should look out for when purchasing it.

Avocado Oil-

Contains vitamins A, B, D, and E, proteins, amino acids, iron, copper, magnesium, and folic acid. *Whew! I think the evidence of all these properties already explain how rich and useful this oil is. The mono-saturated fatty acid in avocado oil is higher than that in extra virgin olive oil and will restore dry, damaged and weak hair. Avocado oil is well absorbed into scalp and hair follicles, so if you are a fan of heat styling and coloring, avocado oil is the one to restore your hair. Unrefined avocado oil is green in color.

Apricot Oil-
This oil improves the condition of the hair by making it softer and more pliable, and it helps in retaining moisture in your hair. Imagine the satisfaction of putting your fingers in your afro in the middle of the day and realizing that it’s feels soft as opposed to being dried up and hardened. Unrefined apricot oil is yellow in color.
